LucyGrey.com Launches Charity Giving Project with Non-Profits, 20 percent of handbag purchase prices go to your favorite causes

For Immediate Release – Jan. 6, 2011

"Look Good – Do Good" campaign kicks off in 2011.

Michigan – LucyGrey, the nation's premiere design-it-yourself couture handbag and accessories company, wants style-savvy ladies to not only look good in this new year – but to feel good by giving back.

Beginning January 1st, 20 percent of all handbag purchases will be returned to the consumer's favorite charity.

LucyGrey Creative Director, Michelle Thelen, said her company is seeking participants in Michigan and beyond who need charitable support, particularly in the nation's lingering recession, which has significantly impacted charitable giving.

"The project fully supports the mission and philosophy of LucyGrey," said Thelen. "We hope to promote our business and spread our mission, which encourages others to give back to their communities and those in need."

Shoppers who visit the LucyGrey site and purchase a bag may leave feedback, directing the company to the charity of their choice. Those funds will be sent directly to the charity within 30 days.

"Handbags have no boundaries," Thelen said, noting that her purses, which are custom-designed online by a customer, can be shipped around the world. The company is offering new fabrics, leathers and styles for holiday shopping.

The company plans to continue its giving project well into 2011. For more information about this important cause contact: mt@lucygrey.com
